As a Coaching Culture Specialist I work with leaders and teams to create a culture of connection, engagement and trust. Where people feel inspired to contribute and give their best.
As a business leader would you like to:
If you have ever felt stuck at work. Like your leadership isn’t effective. That your team is demotivated. That gossiping or conflicts amongst your people draw attention away from work. I went through all these challenges myself as a leader, and was left with no real guidance. As a coach, I finally found my solution, a mindset that is not (yet) part of the official corporate training curricula for leaders.
The tools provided by Transformative Team Coaching serve to take the temperature of a team on connectedness, emotional safety, energy level, and general atmosphere of well-being – all indicators of a well functioning, effective team. And where work needs to be done, the team coaching process takes care of that, with the help of the team coach transforming any or all of:
A simple yet extremely powerful tool during our Transformational Team Coaching workshops is the Circle of Appreciation. When run previously – its success clearly shows how thirsty individuals are within teams for the appreciation of their strengths and values. This opens up a path for leaders, who can ignite the spark for change, allowing better connection and trust within their teams by making small changes in their daily managerial activities which produce big results.
The greatest value of the program is that it creates such level of connectedness that sparks engagement, creativity and eagerness for accomplishment.
The program will result:
Through my career as commercial banker I refined my skills in relationship building, client interactions and sales, and in the management of smaller then larger teams. In my 20 years in managerial positions I became increasingly passionate about the huge opportunity a leader has, to embed in their everyday leadership some small practices to make big changes in the way people engage, behave, interact, cooperate. I also realized how big of an impact a leader has on his or her team as a role model, or a model for transformations to impact not only performance, but also help find one’s strengths that can be converted into contribution. As I was searching for possible ways to motivate and develop my team for better performance, I found coaching. Coaching is an amazing leadership tool, enabling team members to become the best version of themselves. Introducing coaching in my management style proved to be a real success. At the same time, while I was studying coaching I also improved my own self awareness and how I operate in the world. A byproduct, yet a true treasure.
On my coaching journey the next important milestone was the creation of a „Coaching Culture” Program for 52 managers in Citibank where I worked at. We trained 52 managers to receive coaching skills training, which was followed up by regular Action Learning Team Coaching workshops in small groups for further practice. The result was not only transforming leadership and people management, but also coaching style conversations became more wide-spread across our division, including interacting with clients. We had created a culture of coaching-type leadership, enabling effective feedback. It had an incredible impact and people management started to transform.
As I embarked on Transformative Team Coaching as a next phase in my coaching path, a key turning point for me was hearing during one of my session someone saying „Why bother with this team coaching program, people connection, communication thing at all? This is JUST a workplace” . In that moment I knew my job was to affect this opinion and my mission was defined. Everyone has the capacity to do more than just a job. In an age of Quiet Quitting and Great Resignation I believe improving this area can make huge change for individuals, teams and organisations. From surviving to thriving. Another pivotal point in my path was a sudden life threatening issue in my health. Coming out of it provided me with a new dimension of looking at what really matters in life. I took time off to just be. Enjoying the moment, doing all things that fill me up. This all gave me a new awareness and enhanced my focus on how I can bring value to this world.
Through my experience I have refined my style of coaching those who are eager to participate in the transformative internal journey, and realising their true potential. I am passionate about this work because I see the huge impact of the transformational process, which enables happier, thriving, more accomplished individuals. Who would’t want that! Working with teams this helps create a psychologically safe enironment where people are encouraged to make a difference with their own unique contribution. Such a corporate culture will eventually results in high performance. In a corporate environment with people focus, efficiency follows suit.
I am delighted to work with individuals and teams to make this dream a reality.
